The Chasing Lions way.
When I first stepped into real estate, I didn’t expect to stumble straight into the world of Neurolinguistic Programming - but the universe clearly had other plans. My broker at the time happened to be an NLP Master (because of course he was), and he started teaching us how to use NLP tools to guide clients through tough transactions, big decisions, and the occasional emotional meltdown that comes with buying or selling a home.
Honestly? It felt like getting handed the backstage pass to being a light worker in the wild. We weren’t just helping people buy houses; we were helping them navigate some of the most exhilarating, confusing, and deeply human chapters of their lives.
Naturally, I decided to go full-in and became a certified NLP practitioner. Twice. And now I weave NLP into pretty much everything - client work, family life, and the occasional pep talk to myself when Mercury is doing the absolute most.
If there’s one thing NLP teaches you, it’s this: the mind is powerful. Like “your thoughts just rearranged your whole life trajectory” powerful.
In NLP, you learn presuppositions — the baked-in truths that shape how you coach, support, and guide someone. They set the stage. They create the framework. And I’ve always loved that part.
So naturally… I had to make my own.
Thus, my friends, I present to you:
The Chasing Lions Presuppositions
(AKA…The Chasing Lions Way)
Everything is made of energy, and it’s all interacting with each other - even if you cannot see it. Everything is connected.
Feng Shui doesn’t need permission. Energy is always at play.
Your space can be curated to be the most supportive for you, but if your own energy is negative, you will always be in the presence of negative energy.
Clutter steals your joy and your essence.
Feng Shui is not transactional - it’s a trigger. Take your time and watch how it unfolds.
Your home is a mirror of your inner world. If you want to change your internal patterns, your physical environment also has to change.
How you do one thing is how you do everything.
Perfection is not Feng Shui. Feng Shui is being in harmony with your spaces and displaying balance in your own unique way.
You cannot create high-vibe magic in a low-vibe space (borrowed from AGP).
Before you add any Feng Shui remedies or buy anything new, clean your house and edit your surroundings.
Simple routines and rituals compound over time, increasing your capacity for what is possible.
If you don’t love or even remotely like something in your home, it needs to leave.
Your home speaks to you — just not in English. Pay attention to the metaphors.
Whatever your biggest complaint is, you can find it in your house.
Keep it simple, practical, and you.
The front door is everything. Keep it clear. Keep it bright. Keep it flowing.
Spaces and objects carry emotional and energetic residue.
People and spaces co-create outcomes.
Beauty is medicine.
Intention directs energy.
